through its franchise waste haulers Blue Barrel Disposal (www.bluebarrel.com), Atlas Disposal Services (www.republicservices.com), and Burrtec Industries (www.burrtec.com), offer an array of recycling opportunities for residents and businesses alike. Burrtec Industries offers free recycling to businesses using their services in City limits who receive Burrtec trash service. Blue Barrel Disposal and Atlas Disposal Services provide residential waste and recycling services within City limits.
The City is in a Recycling Market Development Zone, or RMDZ. This is a low interest loan and business assistance program for businesses that will manufacture products made from recycled materials or modify their manufacturing process to turn waste products into marketable end products.
